HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!! I'm a bit behind here. Hope you all had a wonderful time with family and friends and counting all your blessings! My part of thanksgiving feasts was to bake the bread, bake old fashioned cream pies and green bean casserole. Also, here are more pics of work being done. Andy got the interior wall done. Kristian will have a study center built in behind this area. This will give him a great place to have all his school stuff and also to concentrate while getting it done. I took a wider angle so you could get your bearings here. This is standing in the doorway that leads to the garage. If you were here during phase one it was the entry door. Kristian's room is to the right of the study area. Also, his cousin Austin came to play games one evening as my brother (Brian) and crew pulled more wire. Lawrence, Don and Brian have really been putting in longs hours, in the cold, to get this wiring in. Thanks so much Andy, Brian, Lawrence and Don. Oh yeah also a "thank you" to Austin for making Kristian's day playing play station!!

Here Kristian was wanting to show his dad how he could pull himself up in his bed and turn off his own light. (he said "mom, take my picture and send it to my dad...Kris, let me know if you see it here caus I have not gotten that done yet =O ) Good job buddy! He loves to do these sorts of things in his handicap accessible home. A lot of little projects have been completed in the past few weeks. Andy got the back of the garage roof done and had a great deal of fun doing it. "THANKS Andy for squeezing into that tiny overhang on the west side!" The storage area is completed in the garage and also the ladder was put into place. There is also lots of things that I didn't capture in camera but we are wrapping up and getting ready to insulate! YIPPEE...good thing it's getting cold here...brrrrrr

guess who pulled his own tooth.....he went to bed and about an hour later called me to his room...."mom, I have something to show you." Then he said, "I prayed for the tooth fairy to bring me $50!" LOL what a funny kid!!! I told him that was not a good thing to pray for and could promise him the tooth fairy would NOT be bringing $50!

this evening my brother Brian showed up, along with a friend of his from work, and two men from my church, to work on the electrical stuff. I feel like there is a whole other language they are speaking. I have pretty much stayed inside because if they start talking to me like that I'll look like a dummy and say..."what?" LOL Wow "thanks a lot you guys!" AWESOME .... God is good!!!

Today we finished getting the stuff moved over. The Knierim family came in force to get it all moved. There were only a few big things left. (I had moved everything I could in the van. If it could be taken apart nut and bolt I did it.) I could not take my love seat or sofa apart easily, or my desk and file cabinet, so I opted to get help for that. Also, the last two mattresses that we slept on were over at the walnut street house. Thanks to all the Knierim's for giving a helping hand. Trevor would not let me take his pic but you can see part of him watching a movie with Kristian. =) We all enjoyed chowing down on some pizza after the work was done! A few more laundry baskets of my clothes and a few stones in the oven and I'll be fully moved in! Now to get it all into place.....=)

ok...so here is the get up, or zoop suit as my dad would call it. Me with my tool belt and pink cell phone attached. Another thing that I get teased about. Last sat. I accidently threw my silver cell phone in the washer in my pants pocket. So I had to get it replaced. Well, Kristian wanted me to get the pink one and I said no way, then the man asked if I wanted the silver one back (way beyond dead) and Kristian wanted it to play with. So I then decided I'd have to go with the pink one so I wouldn't get the dead silver one mixed up with the new one. So there ya have it. If they would have had a red, blue or any other color than pink I would have been much happier! OH well....=) Just another thing for "the boss" to tease me about! LOL

Today Andy arrived around 9AM and we got things rolling. It started a bit slow but before long things were really movin. As Andy was working on the peak on the front I was getting teased by him and several people that stopped by that I wouldn't climb up the extension ladder to help him. I said that I would get up there if he told me I had to but in the mean time I'd be praying about it. Well, God is good and does answer prayers!!! He sent Kevin Kreiner as my angel to get up on the ladder. Not only did he come to work he brought all kinds of cool stuff to stand on. I still never ventured up and took a bunch of hazing all day. So "thank you Kevin for being an answer to my prayer today." I LOVE how God does that for me! ;) So Susan and Sandy came around noon and Susan brought lunch (yummy KFC) . Tomorrow the electricians will come do there thing, we will get the insulation done after that and they drywall. YIPPEE we are getting closer to the end. OH...I did take pictures of Kristian this morning trying out the new garage floor but somehow I must have lost them! BUMMER, he was So excited!

"ok Sandy I think we got this licked...lets measure it and make sure this will fit....ok, lets put it up...oh, what shall we do with that corner missing.....Oh well, it's good enough for who it's for!" LOL...that is what I heard all day...a bunch of smarty pants on site. Susan and Sandy actually did awesome and were putting the finishing touches on the porch. I did not get a end of the day photo because it was dark when we packed up. We have sofet, (i have no idea how to spell it...LOL) and facia (don't know how to spell that either=O) on the front plus a few pieces of siding on the porch yet. Andy has some work on the back side of the addition yet. What an awesome weekend of work! THANKS EVERYONE!!! =)

Well, first you'll see Kristian working out since he's using his power chair all the time now. I don't have any small weights so I gave him two cans of spray foam. He loved it! One, Two, Three, Four....=)...Today Andy, Jeff and Denny poured the garage, porch and slab for the shed. Andy spent hours making it look great! No wonder he is in such great shape. Well, he's only 28 that helps too ;), but that finishing work is very grueling. Whew...makes an old lady tired just watching him. Thanks Winameg Concrete!! Awesome guys!
