One tiny flaw!

Only one problem with Andy!
Go Bucks!!
I think Katie would agree Andy!

ps....You're still one of the best carpenters I know though! ;)

YEAH! Andy made it back from Cancun and within a few days is back at it. Not sure how I got this stuff underlining but oh well...LOL... Today Andy finished Kristian's desk area, the back of the cabinets and a few places, other than Kristian's desk where we needed trim. Now I need to fill holes, caulk, primer then paint and it will be mission accomplished! "Thanks Andy it looks great!
"

Andy took Katie to Cancun and had a great time! They came back with big news of their engagement. How exciting to spend a week in Cancun soaking up some sun AND get engaged. CONGRATULATIONS!! It will be a while until the "big day." Katie will start her Master's program in the fall and wants to finish that before getting married. Here are the fun goodies they brought back for us. Kristian insisted on wearing his shirt the next day to school. It's fresh out of the washer for the pic so it's very wrinkled. =) Thanks Andy and Katie!

forgot to post these on Sat. the 22nd. Brian came over and worked on getting the lights on. (I didn't even take a pic. of them working. Sorry, but they look good!) Here I am playing with my new 18V drill I got for Christmas. I also got a cordless circular saw that I have used a bit as well and it's SO fun! =) I am actually drilling holes to run wire down the cabinets so I can have an outlet at the end for Kristian to help me. We are getting closer to the end of this project. YIPEE!!

Thanks Brian for selfishly giving of your time to our project! What a good little brother!! =)

Happy Easter! Well, as you can see I could not take the brown back ground any longer. I thought maybe if I'd change the color the weather here would change too!? Still snow on the ground today but the sun is shining so that is a start. Last night Brooke, Jeff, Granny, Gramps, Susan (my bus driver) and her granddaughter Presley got together for some "scum" playing fun. Brooke finally made it to the chief seat, poor Jeff was scum, so we had to snap a photo. She was so happy to FINALLY get to the #1 chair! =)

Hello.....Well, here is it Easter weekend and we are having snow, AGAIN!! AHHHHH.....not sure what we will end up with but they have forcaseted 4-6 inches. BOOOOO HOOOO HOOOO....

Here is a BEAUTIFUL bouquet of flowers that "the kids" (thanks again to whomever initiated this) sent me. It is very bright and sunny looking so that fills in the gap until the real deal comes back. Also, you'll notice I was able to capture a tiny little snowflake on the window. I could not get it focused any better but I think you can get the idea of how beautiful these bugars can be. Truly awesome!

God is amazing, praise God for Jesus and giving us the gift of living with Him in Heaven!

He has Risen... =)

Our God is an amazing God and is much bigger than we can imagine......Happy Easter...He has Risen...He has Risen indeed!!

another snow storm this past week. YIPPEE.... Brooke spent the night because she did not want to make the 30 mile drive to West Unity. Kristian wanted to sleep in the LR on the floor tue. night so I made up his bed. I put the blanket over the heat register and when the heat came on he said...AHHHHH...LOL he was a bit surprised. He wanted Brooke to sleep with him on the floor but since he was sleeping when she went to bed she opted to sleep in his comfy bed. As you can see when I went out to see what the night had brought I was greeted with several inches at the garage door. I shoveled my way out, cleaned off Brooke's car and then the rest of the drive. What many of you wouldn't know is snow can be light and fluffy, fairly easy to move around, or very heavy, back breaking stuff. This snow came with sleet and freezing rain so it was the heavy kind. UGH!! =) You'll see the "honkers" joined us as well as a few birds singing us a song. The sun also joined in on the fun and helped melt the snow a bit. Mildred (90 years old) cannot be stopped. Here she is with shovel in hand. Now I'm sure she would advise any other person not to come out in such weather without bundling up! ;) You'll see I made a funny face in Brooke's car and eventually get it all cleared out. =) SNOW SNOW GO AWAY DON'T COME BACK... EVER!!! I've decided if God could switch up languages at the tower of babel he could switch up the weather pattern. I'm praying to get the CA weather in Ohio ....not my will but His be done! LOL Ya never know........

here you can see the cabinets & floors are being worked on. The duct work also was run to the LR. The cabinets are now nearly complete, the counter top should be in next week. Now we need to get the power to the front addition and Kristian's study center done and the inside will be nearly complete! Praise GOD!!! =) We are getting ready for guests so start planning your trip! PS....we are under a level 1 snow emergency today and school is closed! BOO HOO HOO.....
