Here are a few pics that I have gotten behind on. I have been called a "slacker"...whatever....LOL So here is Cynthia pointing out that it is 5PM and she is still in her PJ's. (isn't that what summer vacation is all about?) Her and Kristian doing webkinz on the computer. We've played many, many games of domino's and have started a new game tonight. (electronic monopoly) I see a few nights of that in my future. =) Mildred and Cynthia sat on the porch and chatted while a storm was moving in. We went to the zoo today and had a great time. The baby(2 year old twins) polar bears gave us a nice show. Also, the apes, monkeys, gorilla's etc. gave us quite a show too. The bald eagle was just to pretty not to show.

Happy Birthday to Cynthia!! Today Cynthia turned 12 years old. We started celebrating first thing this morning. Kristian sang happy birthday to Cynthia this morning and told her she was beautiful! What a great kid he is. She opened gifts at breakfast then we gathered later at The Grasshopper restaurant for supper. Some friends from church came and Susan made it better late than never. Cynthia got some scented nail polish. It stinks when putting it on but after it drys it smells like different kinds of fruit. She also got a new "vera" bag from Susan. No, Evette you can't have it!! =) Anyway, she also got cash from family and friends and so now she has about $73. WoW! She also made her bed today because her mom told her she had to.....I told her otherwise because I don't make mine every day. Today I did so that is why she did. "good girl Cynthia." Enjoy.....next year she's a teenager oh no!!! Thanks to everyone that helped make her day a wonderful one!

Hello everyone!

We arrived safely in Charleston West Virginia Friday to meet Evette, Lil Evette and Cynthia. We met halfway (between Ohio and North Carolina) to bring Cynthia home with us for a month, or so, this summer. Kristian stayed with Granny and Gramps ("thanks so much") while mom took the more economic car. As usual Evette brought everything except the kitchen sink. Just try to make it through the maze! =) Poor kids didn't even have floor space for their feet. Don't ya feel sorry for them...LOL Also, you'll notice our two queen bed room became a one king bed with a roll away brought in. The special Olympics were in town and the hotel was booked with no more two bed rooms available. UGH! Four of us what to do....we opted to have three of us in the king bed and Lil' Evette on the roll away. I slept little to none with both girls grinding their teeth and Cynthia trying to kick me out of bed. By about 6:22 AM I surrendered and got out of bed to start my day. It wasn't long until the other three joined me and we went to eat breakfast @ Shoney's. We enjoyed some river pics before eating and the girls were urged to climb out on the rocks for a photo op. Lil' Evette declined but Cynthia smiled for the camera. We arrived back in Ohio several hundred miles later and began getting things in their place. We pray Cynthia has a wonderful summer with us. Kristian is on cloud nine! =) Stay Cool!

Hello Again =)

Well, today was a very good electrical work day. I now have a working door bell! Ding Dong!! LOL The garage is almost done and Michelle and I are electrician's in training. Yes, her and I both were wiring outlets. Brian was patient and faithfully kept plugging away. We now have a sensor light that will come on when Kristian goes into the garage. Brooke surprised Kristian and showed up on Sat. he was in heaven. He LOVES his big sisters! Here are a few pics we snapped today before going to church. He was into the peace thing. Can't tell that is Brooke's hand it looks like both of mine but if you look closely you'll see it isn't mine. =) Also, the shutters came on Thur. so I got them up before horse back riding. One more set to come and that will be done. Yippee...little closer all the time. Thanking God for his faithfulness and sending family/friends to help us out! The lift should also come in the next month. Only God knows.
