here is Newy and Polly. Kristian has officially announced their marriage. I guess he was the only one to witness the blessed event. He says it happened on "Monday" when he seen them kiss. This picture was not taken on the day in question however they sure seem snuggly so he must be right! =) PS....you'll notice one is bigger than the other. Well, Newts have this gross thing that when they eat their belly's get fat until they use the restroom. Polly is bigger than Newy (only God knows their sexes we really have no clue if they are girls or boys or one of each) but we are not hoping for baby newts EVER! =)

whoops ,I forgot the photo of Kristian using his "educational tools" after most everyone had left! hmmmm... whatever... LOL

Ok.. the purple lizzard wasn't for Kristian but for Newy and Polly! SURE!! ;)

today we celebrated Kristian turning 10 on December 29. I invited many family and friends to celebrate with us. At the end of the day there was a total of 32 people here to take part in the fun. The rule was no toys or you had to take home five. Everyone listened and Kristian got no toys, well except granny cheated a bit getting the newts a toy and then some sponge things that get bigger in water and she called it an educational tool or something like that. The funny part of that was when granny walked in with a box Kristian instantly was worried about her taking home 5 of his toys. =-) Everyone else got him gift cards, gift certificates or $. The best part of the day was hanging out for three hours with family and friends. The kids went off to the laundry room/equipment room to watch Underdog and the adults enjoyed visiting(there are six children in the room can you see them all?). The kids were about to finish their movies at about the same time the adults were ready to leave. Andrew was a bit board with it all so laid in watching Newy and Polly for a while. Not photoed were my nephew Trevor (he hides from cameras) and cousins Brent and Dawn that came a bit later in the day and I had set my camera down and didn't think to grab it when they arrived! Thank everyone for making Kristian's day wonderful. I did take a video of him blowing out the "trick" candles. It was funny watching him and two other children blow and blow and blow. =) CUTE!

Sat. Brian and Andy were working on switches and outlets. Here they guys are turning this two switch box into a three switch box. Andy loves doing anything that he gets to play with the power tools. He had to cut away part of a 2x4 to make it fit. my house is a wreck (mostly my fault) and I have a birthday party sunday at 2. I also had to clean another house before the end of the day! I need more hours in a day!! =) (I ended up being up until 2 AM getting things ready for the party. My mom felt sorry for me and when I got home from cleaning, at 10PM, she came for two hours and helped me clean up. Thanks Mom! )

Thanks Andy and Brian!!!!

Oh also you can see my brother deep on thought.......

PS...see the snow outside the window...YUCKY!

Here is my niece cheering her team on. She caught me a few times and mostly gave me smiles;) Isn't she cute!!! Also, I snapped a picture of the pep band because her brother plays the sax but as I scanned the band I seen no signs of Trevor. I asked his dad if he was sick...um it was more like busy with video gaming fun! Bummer maybe I'll catch him another time. In the last few pics you'll see Kelsey being the one that is used for a ramp for the girl on top to walk up. Way to go Kelsey. Also, the last pic is four girls flipping. Kelsey is the second from the left as you look at the photo. Bummer the team lost but the cheers were great!! Pep band good too but definitely missed hearing the sax!!

Ok..some how I got these out of order but first you'll see what I seen when coming back from KY. The garage finished BUT the pile is junk on the left was part of what was hauled away by my parents. Also, that pile of dry wall scraps also was gone. Then you'll see pics that Sandy sent me of the work weekend while I was away. "thanks Sandy!" Here is Andy, Scott, Roberta and a few summer pics of Sandy since she was taking pics and got none of herself. Also, the last picture is today after getting some painting done! Tomorrow is my last day to paint before I take off to see Ash and Dago on Friday. I promised Kristian no painting on Thur. and we'd spend time together! =) By the way ...Happy Jan. B-day Evette, Susan, Scott & Andy. =)

Hello again, here a few pictures that weren't lost in the deleting of pictures accidentally. Kristian getting and being thrilled with his mound of Mac N Cheese. He didn't hardly put a dent in it. We tried to take a tour of Mammoth Cave but the tour was sold out. Also, before leaving KY we stopped by McDonald's for an english muffin. Well, it was cold in KY but this was a bit over the top. I just had to snap a picture of the lady at the drive through window. HA HA HA Here are a few shots along the way home. I had snow flurries along the way but as I got closer to home it got prettier and snowier. (is that even a word...Michelle will tell me;) Also, my property finally got surveyed and we found the neighbors shed is well on my property. I will deal with that once the weather gets nicer. Today was the fourth and final day of dry wall finishing. The knock down is done and the painting can begin on Monday. YIPEE!! Rollers anyone?! Oh and I splurged today and got my hair done for the big trip to AZ to see Dago and Ashlin. Insead of a new outfit I opted for a new hair do. So here it is ...color, highlights, lowlights and cut (layerd)....then she straighted it, not my favorite style but it soon went up to clean a house today. OK...hopefully I'll be back Monday with paint pictures!! Maybe we can get this LR done before Feb. =)

I haven't had much time since my return but what I need to tell you all is while I was gone....Andy, Sandy, Scott, Roberta, Dad, Mom, Brian and his boys came and worked on the house. Some devoted days and nights, some hours and lots of muscle went into getting the rest of the dry wall hung, a bunch, 1,920 pounds, of trash hauled out and an electrical fix. Thanks to EVERYONE for their hard work while I was gone. Too bad I couldn't get any pics of the fun. I should have snapped a few so you could have seen what I saw upon my return. I even could drive into my garage and unload my van what fun. I was squeeling like a little kid and Kristian thought I was nuts! OK...maybe he's right! =)
