Here is a shot of the lights working that I had forgotten before. Brian was here again today doing some troubleshooting. By the end of his visit he had it all figured out so the next time we will wrap up the living room! YIPPEE!! I forgot to take a photo of him working but if you look back you can see him. You may notice he is always wearing the same clothes. These are his work clothes and as we were looking back at photo's today we commented on how he is always wearing the same stuff. He had it on today as well. One big difference is it's not fitting anymore. He has lost 14 pounds in the past few months. "Way to go little brother. By the way, thanks again for helping out." I then finished priming the back of the bar and finished up by painting it the same color that I used on the walls. The trim is just there for looks. Not sure if I want the trim painted or stained so I put some scraps there to see what it looked like.

Today the new counter arrived so the kitchen is nearly complete. Also, today Kristian used his study center for the first time! =)

Today I worked on putting the corner TV stand together. This thing came with picture directions only. Honestly most of the time I use pictures to get something together but when in doubt I like words to double check myself. After about an hour and a half it was together. As you can see we have a bit of a congested mess in the living room. I have several items that I want to paint so I leave them sitting around to try to get a visual on the color I may want. The table with the tile top was my grandma's, she kept plants on it. Maybe it will look good white, it's pretty water damaged. Also, going to paint the TV stand so I'm up for suggestions! =)

This weekend I worked on finishing up the desk. I spackled, caulked, sanded, primed and painted. After all that I think Kristian's desk looks great and look forward to him using it. The counter top is to be here tue. Time will tell, he did tell me a month ago it would be done so I'm saying my prayers. We are close to the finish line in the inside! YIPPEE! We also had sun and 60's for the weekend. That was GREAT!

HOW EXCITING!!! I came home from work with a box on my front porch.

MORE FLOWERS...YIPPEE!! It was full of 3 dozen multi-colored roses. I decided I'd like a bunch by my bed and some on my end table. Then I decided I'd like them on my dining room table but it was a disaster! Kristian's homework took up half of it and our jackets and other misc. junk the other half. I can't wait until I get this study center done so it can all be hidden behind a wall! I did manage to get it mostly cleaned up in about 5 min.

So the card read.....WIGGLE YOUR NOSE, PAT THE TOP OF YOUR HEAD, TWIRL AROUND 3 TIMES, PULL YOUR EARS OUT AND MAKE A MONKEY FACE, DANCE AROUND AND SHAKE YOUR BOOTY! APRIL FOOL'S! HAVE AN EXTRA SILLY DAY TODAY :) YOU ARE SO LOVED.

hmmm...I am stumped, well sort of! I guess I have a secret admirer but shhhh..... don't tell my boyfriend! Thanks for the roses they are beautiful.

ps...haven't heard from some of you for a while. For those that faithfully send emails/comments thanks it's fun to hear from you.
