We have had a busy week since the dedication. The paper did a small, front page, article that came out Tue. Monday the city came out and got most of the tree down in the front yard. That is where the driveway will go. You'll see by Sat. they still had a good bit of trunk left. Maybe they are leaving me a toetum (amber is that spelled right? LOL) poll??? Anyway, dad, mom and myself brought six loads of brush to the front from the three trees that were cut down in the back. Whew was it hot! Thanks Dad and Mom!! You'll notice I have been taking stuff over. I try to do at least a load a day. Some of you have asked about the addition and moving in. I want to wait until the drywall dust has settled from the addition to move. I'm hoping by the end of Aug. I can have furniture in. My first mortgage is due Sept 1....Happy B-day to me huh! LOL So here is a print of what the addition will look like. Hope it clears it up for those that feel lost. Yes, we are taking about half of the front wall out for the Living Room addition. it will be open from the west wall to the garage entry.

Baby Bunnies

Today we got a chance to see one of the baby bunnies. This is for you Ashlin.....=) They seem to be doing fine. This is the first we have seen of them since just after Ashlin left~

whew...I'm pooped! =)

Wow, what a great day! I showed up to the house this morning to do a few things before church. Before getting out of the van I noticed I had a new American flag...... hmmm....... wonder who did that...(after some time I found out......"Thanks Susan you're the best!") People started arriving as early as 1oAM when I was doing some last min. stuff. We had atleast two come in to take a peek. Then after church we went back and around 1PM from then on they kept rolling in slowly. At about 3PM there was a surge in cars/people and before I knew it my front lawn was full and up and down the street. In looking at all the great photo's Susan took I started writing names. I ended up with 92 names of people that came today. Some people never made it in the pics. because they were on the ramp out front. We filled the center room and had people standing in the doorways and rooms everywhere else. It was nice to see everyone that I hadn't seen in weeks. God is good and I am so thankful for all He gives me and my family. "Thank you all!"

I forgot to post my favorite light fixture....it's my favorite because I got it on clearance for $10 @ Lowe's....I LOVE those kind of deals.......

ok...here are some of the faithful workers that came to do some of the final touches before dedication tomorrow. I did not get a photo of my dad working because my phone rang and got me off track! (it don't take much sometimes) Well, he mowed today (i wasn't there, Kristian and I were in a local parade so I didn't get to the house until 1PM) and worked a bit more on the doors. At the end of the day after everyone had left dad and mom came back with a sandwich and fries! It sure hit the spot. (sorry the pic came out so dark) Also, you'll see some of the trees that were cut down and the reason for them to come down. I'm glad they are gone! More tomorrow! =)

One day to go....tomorrow we will do the final touches before the dedication on Sunday. National City Bank came today and we got second coats on doors and trim as well as some more lights up. Here are a few of my sale/clearance lights. My best deal was the light for my bedroom. I got it on clearance for $10. It made my day!!! Also, we got the three trees down in the back yard. I should say Fred and Kevin got them down. Also, today I closed on the house so it's officially mine/ours and we can start on the addition as soon as Monday! YIPEE! Now to get a contractor! God is still in control here so it will be in His timing.
