Some things never change then some do!

On Oct.16, 2009 Freda M. Ruffer went to heaven! We all knew her as Mom, Grandma, Great-Grandma, and Great Great Grandma! What a change that will be for our family. Brooke drove her moving truck home when she came for the funeral and now has all her stuff in storage. She will move herself soon. Lots of changes during this time for us. Brooke moving home and having a baby in the spring, Grandma no longer on earth.....BUT some things never change. Gotta love this group of... lets just say "kids" that Grandma Ruffer raised! Five of the six children were able to be here. In typical fashion the "bunny ears" went flying up with the camera coming out. ;) Pictured with my mother in law is her daughter Michele. It was nice to see everyone, it's just unfortunate funerals have to bring us all together sometimes. I believe Grandma is in heaven and what a joyous occasion for her. Although we miss her here it's comforting to know she is with so many that has went on before her, not to mention being with Jesus. Oh what a day that will be, when my Jesus I shall see! O=)

Fall in Ohio

Fall has arrived and with that comes lots of leaves to come down. The changing seasons brings lots of beauty... and work. The leaves lay like a blanket on the grass and if not taken up will kill the yard, not to mention be waiting for you in the spring! With the leaves coming down we get the opportunity to make leave houses (if you have no idea email me ;). I love to hear the leaves crunch below your feet with every step, the smell is unmistakable too. We have more cool days than not and we look forward to Indian Summer for a few days of weather possibly in the upper 70's before the snow flys. We really haven't had it this year and it appears it won't happen. We have already had our first days of frost so the pretty, delicate flowers are no more! Of course, we still have our mums and geraniums can take a little frost too. It's football season and this past friday we played our rival. We were 3 touchdowns down at the half but the Indians stepped it up and nearly beat the bluestreaks in the end. The rainy cold weather did not keep the crowds away. In the weeks to come the snow will too, football games will simply require extra layers and a cup of coffee or hot choc.! Oh the falls days in NW Ohio! BEAUTIFUL!

Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the floor each morning the devil says~~ "Oh crap, She's up!

" Life is too short to wake up with regrets. So love the people who treat you right. Love the ones who don't just because you can. Believe everything happens for a reason. Forgive quickly. God never said life would be easy. He just promised it would be worth it. BELIEVE!

Funny Face I love you!

For some of you that title will bring a song to mind and for other's it will remind you of the funny little faces you have seen from your children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, brother's or sisters, and friends.

Kristian lost three teeth in a few short weeks and the last two fell out in one day. Ok....he pulled them, mommy is too much of a wimp! Here is my little Miss M and her cute little faces! We love each and every picture we get of her. Grammie melts at the sight of her cute little face! Also, you will see how we have been enjoying humming birds again. Justice, Kristian's cousin, came and spent the night. He and Kristian had fun "swimming" in the whirlpool tub, maybe they call it that because I make them leave their undies on! ;) Also, Justice told me he wasn't getting his school pictures this year so I trimmed up his hair and sat him down for a photo shoot. He is always a kid of funny faces too. Here is one of MANY he did while I was trying to get a 4th grade school picture of him! =)
