Today Andy, Susan and I worked on the west side of the house. After about 4 hours (or so) it was mission accomplished! Thanks you two! =)

OK...here are the tracks that Kristian made with his new wheels when it was like 10 min. old. You really don't get a good idea of how gross this was but the mud was packed on his wheels with stones, pine straw and leaves. I was so proud of him!!! =) All boy at that moment!! LOL

Here are Brian (my electrician) and Andy (my contractor) doing what they do best! Well, at least some of what they do best! They are awesome and we appreciate all they do for us!! "thanks guys!"

love living near a place that has pine straw. Take me back to the days in NC.

Beautiful fall colors even among the trash!

His new chair arrived yesterday! Within minutes he was out in the mud and stuck. Every little boys dream. He loves the new chair and does really well at it! He will only use it for feild trips or family outings BUT I did let him take it to school today to let everyone see it! He was excited! His new phrase..."sweet!" LOL

after the rain stopped yesterday Tom came back with two of his faithful roofing angels. Betsy and Kim came to give him a hand! The roof is now complete. Thanks SO MUCH!! =)

Today Door Works blessed our home with a Garage door (18x8) and and opener and a four foot commercial grade steel entry door with an handicap door opener! God is good all the time! Kristian said, "sweet" when he seen it after school. He is right.... it's very sweet. Thanks Brian! =)

Today three angels showed up and finished the roof! Thanks Tom, Tim and Jim for coming to roof on your day off work! What amazing guys you are!!!

The Benefit was two and a half hours of fun, love and God pouring out His blessings. There were several signs up around town I happen to drive by two and snapped a pic. Kristian's aide, Buffy, and our bus driver, Susan, sold tickets to raffle off this OSU quilt that our bus driver Susan made.(thanks Sue for ALL you do for us, we appreciate your sacrifice in time, energy and $ =) Many tickets were sold.... even some Mich. fans purchased some. Kristian spent his time at the carnival that Sue Coll put together. It was a smashing success and Kristian was in heaven. Here Grandma Berta is taking Kristian and Justice down to play more games. There were 750 half chickens cooked and every one was sold. ($7 a full meal and $5 for chix only) The quilt brought in about $750 and the carnival made $150. That was alot of tickets sold at $.25 a piece. The kids had a blast. Thanks Sue! Also, thanks to Tim, Danielle and Travis for giving mom a hand. We appreciate all you did/do. You will see the kitchen and gym packed with people. We had so many people volunteer to help out and as you can see the kitchen was running smoothly. Way to go EVERYONE! Thanks so much.....

oh yeah forgot to tell you Kristian's name was drawn by his Great Grandma Ruffer for the quilte. We brought the quilt home and he slept with it that night! =) ps...I did not purchase any tickets for the quilt but many tickets were purchased in Kristian's name. God is good and this was extra sweet!

ok...too tired..... here is a cute pic that Brooke snapped today. More later about the benefit! =) Night......

OK...I am a few photo's behind so if you don't see your pic from a work day contact me I'm sure I can dig one up for you. =) LOL Here are the last two work days. Last Sunday and yesterday (Saturday) As you can see we got a lot done last weekend (Major hammering taking place) Yesterday was exciting as well...we moved windows, put in a door and got the shingles started. We have the best friends and family EVER! Thanks EVERYONE for ALL you do!! Kristian LOVES his new home and Mommy does too....xoxoxox = ) . I bowed out when the roofing fun began. Just can't do it! I'm very good at picking up the junk that gets tossed from the roofers LOL My brother Brian rode in at just the right time when everyone (Gwen and Dave from horseback haven, Susan, Scott and Sandy) was leaving and Andy was alone on the roof. I was SO thankful for his showing up and helping Andy get the existing roof shingled so it wouldn't rain in this week. We were all exhausted at the end of the day! There is a picture of boo boo's. We all have had them. Andy does construction for a living and says he has gotten hurt more on this job than he does on his own. I will say we have had only minor incidents but it's only by the grace of God that no one has been seriously hurt. A perfect example is when Andy and I tried to set a 24 foot wall without help. Yep, it came crashing down. He and I both were between studs and at first we both thought it hit only our shoulders. Well, mine did, other than knocking out my pony tail holder, the next day Andy really was bruised up on his forearm and bicep. God is good!! Bruises, hammered fingers, scrapes and so on. Well, the first weekend my brother hammered his thumb and about a month later I did it. We both have these blood spots working their way down our nails. (His about a month ahead of mine. Just had to capture it for the "record".) OK...enough for now...I have to put the benefit pics and info. up yet! Thanks for all the encouragement and all the help that you give us!!
