Kristian wanted me to take a picture of him zipping around the driveway on the ice. I know you can't see him sliding but he was driving as fast as he could and then turning, going forward and backward. He loves this!! You can see him really cranking on that joy stick.
Also, Bo-Dec came yesterday and sprayed the foam in the walls and around the sill plate. Thanks Bo-Dec .....no drafts for us! =)

well, we got some work done today despite the freezing rain. Here you can see it on the vehicles and pine trees. I put a pic taken about a month ago to show how high the branches normally are. As you can see they are drooping to the ground. Everything is a sheet of ice. I do want to send a special "thank you" for those that live in the warmer climates and had to rub it in today! I received a call about 7:30PM and we are already on a 2 hour delay in the morning. That really messes up my day. =) Also, you'll see a dart stuck to my lamp shade. Scott and Justice were playing last night with their toys and lost several darts. After looking and looking they were still one short. I found it when I went to bed! LOL I also wanted to share a couple pics of more messages we found when tearing stuff apart for the addition. Thanks again Brian for selfishly giving of your time. Glad the boys and Michelle could come too! Dry wall is to go up on Sat. ... anyone interested in joining in on the fun? Call or email for details.

We had our first snow and school delay this week. Kristian was excited to "PLOW" the snow as he calls it. You can also see his new foot rests that are temporary until his new reds ones come in. Most of you know he was racing a little girl in a wheelchair at school the FIRST day he got it and ran into a concrete pole. WHOOPS....LOL I was a bit proud of him. He is so very careful in life I like it when he acts like a typical boy. So he has purple foot rests until the red ones come in. He doesn't even care he is just thrilled to be back into the new power chair. (he was back in the manual chair for about a week until the new/used parts were put on.
Now onto the house. We have passed our rough inspection and can now insulate and then drywall. How exciting. Brian and I shared a high five once the inspection was over. WHEW!
Susan and I worked on the attic in the garage. We accomplished our goal and now have OSB around the edges of the floor so I don't fall off one day! Oh, I feel I must apologize for the rear end view. If I were on my other computer I'd do some fancy work in photo shop. (I guess any of you that know me know I was "blessed" in that area so photo shop don't fool anyone....LOL ) oh well.........

Just thought I'd get into the Christmas spirit some. This is true art work here. Wire runs in many directions like the California freeways. Cool huh?! So here is the "salamander" (who comes up with these names.....LOL) that kept us warm today. It was about 17 degrees today when we got up. This kept us warm while trying to get the work done.

During the week a friend from way back in the day came to help my brother in his residential electrical quest. I had NO IDEA all that was involved in this. There has been countless hours put in for something that works quietly behind the scenes. My brother works full time, goes to college and has taken on this huge project. What a blessing!! So here is Kristain with his glasses that makes every light look like a snowman. He's doing his morning workout routine before we get on the bus! =) Good Boy!! So today the guys got all the wiring into place for a rough inspection. (Any prayers would be appreciated) Thanks Todd, Justin, Brian & Andy for another great work day. Thanks to Dave and Dad that were able to come by and give some great direction!

funny thing they needed to drill a hole in the block to pull the cable and phone wires through. Well, Brian says "I see something red.... Andy says: there shouldn't be anything red in there...Brian: well it looks red to me" As it turns out it was a crushed mountain dew can that Andy left in a block. Andy is working in poking a hole in it. =) Looks like andy is getting a bit sick of the pics....=O At the end of the day the last man on the job was my little bro Brian putting up the doorbell wire. Thanks you guys!! What an awesome day!!!
