Hello Blogger Buddies....I love hearing from all of you so keep up the emails.

We had a great time while in NC, DC and PA. We returned home in time to get in a day at our local fair. Kristian was excited to go to the Demolition Derby and really enjoyed it, especially when I got the ear plugs in. We were front and center so the noise was great and the flying dirt was one of the highlights. =) (The derby pics are posted last first we will start with the weekend to DC/PA) Here you'll see some of our CA friends Sarah and Christain. I babysat Christain back in 2000. It was good to see them~( they moved to the east coast in 04) The boys seemed as though they had not spent any time apart and laughed and played togehter. Jess, Amber and Apollo stopped by our hotel to visit. Kristian was in heaven when Jess agreed to play games with him. He was stuck at a hard place on a game and was hoping Jess could get him through. Apollo was thrilled that our hotel allowed dogs. He is such a good boy! We spent part of a day in DC seeing the sights. It was so hot and one of my friends ;) kept calling me....SO..you'll see me on my phone in three pics and yes, I'm talking to the same person! (Send me all your guesses via email the winner will get a prize!! =) So while walking around DC we got so hot and by the time we were desperate for a drink and cooling off the only place we could find was George Wash. Hospital. Of course they had a cafeteria so we got ice water and ice cream. The metro pics were taken at the beginning of the trip and the end of the day. There will be no question as to which was which! LOL Kristain's face gives it away. We went to Evette's from visiting Amber where I celebrated my birthday. It was fun to see their new house/town. They have officially been named dillweeds from Dillsburgh! LOL Evette made dirt dessert (yummy) and a nice dinner to celebrate. We also burned a treasure candle to remember the good old days. We found three treasures in all. You can see the first one starting to show in the candle burning pic. Kristian had his remote control boat and played with it in the Bittmann's hot tub.

Kristian's friend, Alexis, came after school the other day and right away they were fighting over the remote. She won! LOL They had a lot of fun.

Hope you are all well and for those of you in TX I hope you were spared any harm or damage!
