It's been nearly a month!

Hi Everyone....Thanks to everyone that has sent messages to me ENCOURAGING me to blog. Where does the time go? Anyway, here are some pics from the past month.

As always we have had several events here at the house and always enjoy good food, (homemade ice cream is becoming a get together staple! ) family and fellowship with one another.

We had the opportunity to keep Gavin for a few hours today and Kristian stayed by his side the whole time he was awake. He asked me if I thought he would make a good daddy! awww..he is the BEST!

On Sept. 1 we had two big events. I turned 44, big deal, and our sweet little Miss Makayla had surgery on her face. What was first thought a strawberry birth mark, then a Pyogenic Granuloma, was removed and biopsied. The results were in on tue. of this past week when her stitches came out. It did turn out to be the strawberry as they thougth in the beginning, no cancer worries..whew!! She is doing wonderfully and as you can see is ready to be grown up ASAP! She had two teeth in by 4 months, she simply wants to go go go and see all there is to see. I have seen her twice since her birth and that doesn't seem near enough. I'm so thankful for email and pictures/video's! Grammie loves you Makayla! xoxoxox

The Fulton County Fair took place Sept. 4-10. We went several times and of course went to the demolition derby the last night of the fair. We sat through five heats each having a dozen cars smash and crash into one another. Handicap seating is the first row and as the cars spin their tires we would get sprayed with the sand/gravel on the track. You can see Kristian's seat after I took him out. It was in our hair, shirts, pants EVERYWHERE! It was SO fun too! Kristian won six fish the first day we went to the fair. All six are still alive and are sitting in the middle of our dining room table. Not sure how long they will last but we are trying our best to keep them alive. Kristian has named them all and knows them all apart but I cannot begin to tell you all their names. They are like Myle Cyrus (have no idea if that is spelled right) Zack and Cody. Anyone that gets that sort of channel will know some of the rest. We do not get that channel so I just don't know them all. LOL

Our garden did well and was fun for us. As you can see I had some good sized potato's but most of them were smaller. I have given away SO many tomato's! Can't wait to do it again next year!

We also had a baby morning dove just learning to fly flutter to our front flower garden and take a break before trying to fly again. I grabbed my camera to snap a pic. for Mildred! She LOVES watching all our birds!

Kristian lost the first of his molars. He worked on this tooth a whole day! He was so proud but sad to hear the tooth fairy has retired! HA HA HA

The last picture you'll see him cleaning his FOSSIL! He took it to school to show everyone what he discovered in our back yard. He is so proud to have a FOSSIL! He wondered if it was a dinosaur! I LOVE HIM!

Thanks to everyone that keeps up with our blog page. I apologize for mispellings but I was never good at proofing papers so why start now! =)

Hope you all are well! God bless

Great pics! Good job for getting that tooth out, Kristian and I'm pretty sure there were dinosaurs living in your yard many years ago :)

Love all the pics!
Jay-R's goldfish did not fare so well. He won it Thursday and it died on Saturday. Lots of tears but Ashleigh brought one home Saturday from a wedding so we still have one!
